It’s too bad I don’t read Japanese. However, I believe this collection can be attributed to some vintage Japanese magazines predicting the future circa the late 1960s. The one in the top left comes from an illustration series called “Robot Age” published by Shōnen Sunday in 1969 depicting a utopian robot future. The others follow suit. In some ways I think I prefer our 21st century Hex-bug pets and Rumba vacuums more than an enormous, fridge sized maid. Just saying.
